Após atropelar a vítima, identificada como Gregório Angelo Gimenez, o carro ainda seguiu na via e atropelou um casal que estava em uma motocicleta, trafegando no sentido contrário da avenida.

Segundo a Polícia Civil, a mulher apresentava sinais de embriaguez e foi constatado a presença de várias latas de cerveja espalhadas pelo carro. Como a condutora estava em atendimento hospitalar, não foi realizado o teste de bafômetro. Ela foi presa em flagrante por lesão corporal e homicídio culposo na direção de veículo automotor sob influência de álcool.
Na Santa Casa de Pederneiras, a motorista passou por cirurgia ortopédica e segue internada sob escolta da Polícia Militar. O estado de saúde dela é estável. Após a alta, ela deverá passar por audiência de custódia.
O inquérito policial foi instaurado, os veículos apreendidos e levados para o pátio da Polícia Civil. A perícia foi realizada no local.
